I see myself as an idealist who has left home and family in pursuit of the home and family that God wants for me. So far He has provided me with a church family and many dear friends. We'll see what the future holds. I grew up in a small town in Oregon with a twin brother and younger sister. Our parents, who have since divorced, raised us to view the world with compassion and interest. My dad is a self-made entrapraneur who started his own wood-working business which I grew up working for, and my mom is a conscientious homemaker interested in tasty vitals and hospitality. They home homeschooled us with the idea that we would learn how to think for ourselves and not be swayed by peer pressure. I think it worked for me. At least, here I am
